Why do we use preservatives?

Many other clean brands pride themselves on not using any preservatives in their formulations. However, as formulators, we know that a small amount of the right preservative can keep us safe! These are necessary in any formulation that contains water or is used in the bathroom, to prevent the growth of molds and harmful bacteria. We strive to keep our customers and the planet as safe as possible! The preservative that we use has been tested over time and does NOT cause cancer or reproductive harm with long term use.
